Description of the offer
To operate efficiently and safely all machinery on the barge, and to maintain the cranes and pipe lay equipment.
To liaise with the second engineer with regard to the daily operations of the vessel.
To implement the QHSE policy of the Company in assistance to the first engineer regarding the machinery.
To report non conformances, incidents, near misses to the 2nd engineer.
To make recommendations with regard to further training / promotions for the personnel under his responsibility.
To discipline the maintenance personnel under his responsibility.
To perform preventive maintenance of all equipment onboard, and carry out repair in case of breakdown.
To implement and improve the maintenance program.
To update and file documentation regarding the machinery as per 1st engineer/chief engineer’s possible requirements.
To carry out safety inspections.
Location: Nigeria Offshore
Start: Pipe Lay Barge/ Anchor Handling
Duration: 5 months with an extension of 2 months
Rotation: 6 weeks on site/ 6 weeks on leave
Working Schedule: 7 days per week/12 hours
